THE GENERAL DATA

Инжекторная the fuel system contains distributive fuel pump CAV Roto Diesel.

Fuel tank

Stamped of a steel sheet the fuel tank is located under the bottom before a back axis of the car.

Fuel type: diesel fuel.

The fuel filter

The fuel filter contains a replaced element and a sediment bowl.

Mark and type: Ford EFG 24 or Lucas 7176-902.

The air filter

Mark and type: Motorcraft EFA 199.

The fuel pump

Роторный the distributive fuel pump is equipped by the hydraulic proof-reader of a corner of an advancing of injection on the cold engine. The pump is put in action by a separate gear belt.

Mark and type:

 – Engines of type RFA and RFB: Lucas CAV Roto Diesel DPC 8443 B 431 C or DPC 8443 B 432 D;
 – Engines of type RFL: Lucas CAV Roto Diesel DPC 8443 B 442 C or D or DPC 8443 B 444 F.

Sequence of injection (the cylinder №1 from outside a system drive timing): 1–3–4–2.

Pump installation: by means of the adjusting adaptation (subsection 3.2.1.3.3 see).

Number of turns of idling: 870±20 rpm.

The maximum number of turns (without loading): 5150 50 rpm.

Atomizers

Atomizers are screwed in in a head of the block of cylinders.

Atomizers: CAV RotoDiesel Lucas ВDN 12S DC 6849 C RDN 12S DC 6849 C.

Spray type: Pinteau.

Pressure of opening of an atomizer:

 – The nominal: 14,3–15,0 МПа;
 – The minimum: 14,0 МПа.

Tightness check: absence вытекания fuel within 10 seconds under the pressure of 12 МПа.

Pressure drop time in a range of nominal pressure of injection: 5–40 seconds.
