THE GENERAL DATA

Bolt of fastening of the hinge of a shaft of a steering column

The moment of a tightening of a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) fastenings of the hinge of a steering shaft is increased to 25 ± 1 Nanometers.

The prevention
It is recommended to tighten a nut, instead of to screw up a bolt.

The increased moment of a tightening can be applied also in cars of earlier manufacturing (to models 1988).
