THE GENERAL DATA

COVER OF THE HEAD OF THE BLOCK OF CYLINDERS

Since October, 1987 (a code of date of manufacturing "HU") all diesel engines 2,3 дм3 are equipped new type with a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and a lining (from a silicone material).

The prevention

The new lining of a head of the block of cylinders can be used repeatedly provided that it remove very cautiously and at removal it has not been damaged.

At installation of a lining of new type it is necessary to arrive as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully to clear all surfaces of contact of a lining with a head of the block of cylinders and a cover; to remove all rests of a lining of old type.
2. On a condensed surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders to put a path blue герметизирующей pastes (being in packing together with a lining) width 1,5–2 mm.
3. To establish a lining on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to wait for 45 minutes, paste will not dry up yet герметизирующая.
4. To oil on a head of the block of cylinders a surface of contact of a lining of a cover
5. To establish a cover and to tighten nuts of fastening of a cover the moment of 4 Nanometers.
The prevention

Excess of this moment of a tightening of nuts will cause lining damage.

КЛИНОВЫЕ BELTS OF THE DRIVE OF UNITS OF THE ENGINE

Tension adjustment

For normal work of units of the engine put in action клиновыми by belts, the corresponding tension of these belts is required.

The prevention

If have no the special adaptation for tension check клиновых belts it is necessary to regulate them so that by pressing by a thumb half of the greatest piece belts have caved in on 4 mm.

FLYWHEEL

The tightening of bolts of fastening of a flywheel "on a cross" and in two stages is recommended:

 – 1 stage: the moment of 20 Nanometers;
 – 2 stage: the moment of 100 Nanometers.
