Adjustment of idling of carburettor Pierburg

And – the screw of adjustment of number of turns,

In – the screw of adjustment of structure of a mix

The engine 1,8 дм3 type REB is equipped by two-chamber carburettor Pierburg 85 HF 9510 AB independent management throttle заслонок both chambers, with the automatic starting arrangement and the accelerating pump.

Adjustment приоткрывания starting air заслонки

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To adhere throttle заслонку mixes in partially open position and to turn a cam of the accelerated idling so that a bolt of adjustment of number of turns of the accelerated idling concerned a maximum level of a step disk.
2. With the help щупа or drills in diameter of 3 mm to measure width of a backlash between an edge starting air заслонки and a wall of the chamber of the carburettor (fig. Measurement приоткрывания воздущной заслонки carburettor Pierburg see).
3. In case of need to adjust necessary size of a backlash by means of an adjusting bolt (a key for internal шестигранников 2 mm).

Adjustment of number of turns of the accelerated idling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To finish the engine to normal working temperature.
2. To check up and in case of need to adjust number of turns of idling and the maintenance WITH.
3. To muffle the engine.
4. To remove the air filter.
5. To start the engine and to leave it idling.
6. To check up, whether adjusting signs on a cover of the starting arrangement and on the carburettor case are located against each other.
7. The end of a bolt of adjustment of number of turns of the accelerated idling to establish on a minimum level of a step disk, moving for this purpose the lever throttle заслонки (in a direction of increase in opening), accordingly to turn a step disk and to release the lever throttle заслонки.
8. To check up number of turns of the accelerated idling.
9. In case of need to correct it by means of a bolt of adjustment of number of turns of the accelerated idling (fig. Adjustment of number of turns of the accelerated idling of carburettor Pierburg see).

Idling adjustment

This adjustment is carried out on the engine heated-up to normal working temperature and the switched off consumers of a current.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before adjustment it is necessary to check up tightness of vacuum pipelines.
2. To connect a tachometre, to check up and in case of need to adjust number of turns of idling, turning the screw (fig. Adjustment of idling of carburettor Pierburg see).
3. To connect the analyzer of exhaust gases.
4. To finish number of turns of the engine to 3000 rpm and to keep it within nearby 30 seconds.
5. To release an accelerator pedal. The number of turns should be established at the previous level. The maintenance WITH will originally increase and later 5–25 seconds should be stabilised.
6. Later 30 seconds after installation of number of turns to define the maintenance WITH.
7. In case of need to adjust the maintenance WITH in exhaust gases by means of the screw () structure of a mix of idling.
