From model 1985 in the engine 2,0 дм3 type NET carburettor Weber 85 HF 9510 CA (in cars with a mechanical transmission) or Weber 8 HF 9510 DA (in cars with an automatic transmission) is applied. The design of basic elements of these carburettors is identical to carburettors Weber 83 HF, applied earlier in engines 2,0 дм3.

Carburettors Weber 84 HF and 85 HF contain following new elements:

  – Throttle заслонка mixes of II chamber copes vacuum, образуемом in an inlet collector;
  – The automatic starting arrangement has electric heating (only 85 HF – the engine 2,0 дм3);
  – The number of turns of idling is regulated by means of the electric step-by-step engine actuating throttle заслонку I chambers. This engine receives operating signals from the module of management of ignition ESC II (only 85 HF – the engine 2,0 дм3).

Check and adjustment of carburettors Weber

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After installation it is necessary to spend the basic adjustment as follows.
2. To warm up the engine to normal working temperature, to switch off all consumers of a current and two times to increase number of turns of the engine to size about 2500 rpm.
3. To insert a plate щупа in the thickness of 1 mm between the pusher ends () (fig. Installation of the step-by-step engine of adjustment of idling of carburettor Weber) the step-by-step engine of adjustment of idling and a restrictive bolt () the lever throttle заслонки mixes see. The number of turns of idling of the engine should make 875±25 rpm.
4. If the number of turns has inappropriate size it is necessary to weaken a counternut of a restrictive bolt () and, rotating this bolt, to achieve necessary size of number of turns of idling of the engine.
5. To take a plate щупа and to increase at least two times number of turns of the engine to size about 2500 rpm.
6. Again to establish a plate щупа on a corresponding place and to check up, whether correct number of turns of idling of the engine.
7. To take a plate щупа, to check up and in case of need to adjust the maintenance WITH in exhaust gases.

Adjustment of structure of a mix (the maintenance WITH) idling – the engine 2,0 дм3 type NET

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
2. To connect a tachometre and the analyzer of exhaust gases.
3. To keep within nearby 30 seconds number of turns of the engine at level of 3000 rpm and to release an accelerator pedal.
4. After stabilisation of indications of both devices to read the maintenance WITH idling.
5. In case of need to adjust the maintenance WITH by means of the screw of adjustment of structure of a mix of idling (fig. Adjustment of idling of carburettor Weber 85 HF see).
6. To establish a seal on the screw of adjustment of structure of a mix of idling.

The prevention

The number of turns of idling is regulated by the electronic module of management of ignition ESC II which operates the step-by-step engine turning throttle заслонку mixes idling. This knot is not subject to adjustment.
