The gauge of impulses with the Hall converter is located in the ignition distributor, replacing the classical breaker. Into its structure also enter: a motionless, so-called, magnetic partition and a rotor. The magnetic partition is formed by the constant magnet fixed on a motionless plate, and also the converter of the Hall located opposite to a pole of a constant magnet on a ceramic element.
The rotor has the form of the low cylinder, in цилиндриче6ской which parts are executed four rectangular cuts. During rotor rotation its cylindrical part passes between a pole of a magnet and the Hall converter, interrupting and rejecting four times for one turn a magnetic stream, each time causing formation or disappearance of effect of the Hall. At disappearance of effect of the Hall the switchboard transistor passes a current through a primary winding of the coil of ignition, and occurrence of a magnetic stream causes effect of the Hall and interruption of course of a current (it is similar to disconnection of contacts of the breaker in the classical distributor of ignition). At the moment of current disappearance in a primary winding in a secondary winding of the coil of ignition the high voltage transferred by means of the distributor on a spark plug of the corresponding cylinder is induced.
The described decision is characterised by two important advantages: there is no mechanical deterioration and consequently it is not required any adjustment, and also energy of a spark of ignition practically irrespective of number of turns of the engine (in classical system energy of a spark decreases at a great number of turns of the engine) is provided.
The distributor of ignition of transistor system Bosch, as well as classical distributors, is equipped by regulators of a corner of an advancing of ignition: centrifugal and vacuum. Whereas the distributor of ignition of transistor system Lucas has no these regulators.
The prevention It is impossible to replace an original rotor of the distributor for preservation of corresponding resistance.
