4.1.2. Adjustment of backlashes of valves
THE GENERAL DATA

Order of a tightening of bolts of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Check of backlashes of valves

1 – a counternut,

2 – an adjusting bolt,

3 – a spring,

4 – a cam,

5 – a pusher (lever),

6 – a plate,

7 – the valve,

8 – a valve spring

Adjustment of backlashes of valves

1 – a cam,

2 – a pusher (the valve lever),

3 – an adjusting bolt,

4 – a counternut

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove the air filter and to disconnect wires of a high voltage from the distributor of ignition and свеч ignitions.
2. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders, having unscrewed ten bolts of its fastening (is perfectly in order the return to shown (see fig. the Order of a tightening of bolts of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders).
3. To unscrew spark plugs for simplification проворачивания a cranked shaft of the engine.
4. To turn a cranked shaft (in a direction of its working rotation) before installation of a cam of the checked valve upwards.
5. With the help щупа to check up a backlash between a pusher and a cam of the given valve (fig. Adjustment of backlashes of valves see). The backlash measured in a cold condition of the engine between a core of the valve and its pusher should make 0,020 mm for the inlet valve and 0,25 mm for the final.
6. In case of need it is necessary to adjust a valve backlash, in appropriate way turning a bolt of adjustment of a backlash 3 (fig. Adjustment of backlashes of valves see).
7. To tighten the corresponding moments (subsection 4.1.1.9 see) ten bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders in an order shown on fig. Check of backlashes of valves.
8. To screw up new spark plugs.
9. To connect high voltage wires to the distributor of ignition and spark plugs.
10. To establish the air filter.
