8.6.2. Removal and installation of steering transfer

THE GENERAL DATA

Removal of steering transfer from hydraulic booster Cam Gear

1 – bolts of fastening, 2 – the pipelines of a high pressure feeding the hydraulic amplifier, 3 – the pipeline of a high pressure submitting oil to the operating valve, 4 – the pipeline of low pressure (oil return)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To lower the engine and to connect with картером couplings. 2. To unscrew a bolt of a tightening holder of a flange of the elastic hinge and to disconnect a shaft of a steering wheel from приводной gear wheels of steering transfer. 3. To lift the car and to remove forward wheels. 4. To take шплинты and to unscrew корончатые nuts of spherical hinges of steering draughts. 5. To disconnect steering draughts from rotary fists of wheels by means of a stripper 13.006. 6. To unscrew pipelines of a high pressure from the case of transfer and to merge oil from hydraulic system. 7. To unscrew the pipeline of low pressure from the transfer case. 8. To unscrew two bolts (1) (fig. Removal of steering transfer from hydraulic booster Cam Gear) fastenings of the case of steering transfer to a cross-beam of a body see and to take steering transfer.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish the case of steering transfer on a corresponding place and to screw up two bolts of fastening of the case of steering transfer to a body cross-beam. 2. To connect hydraulic pipelines, establishing new linings on connections. 3. To connect steering draughts to rotary fists of wheels. 4. To tighten all carving connections by the corresponding moments. 5. To establish forward wheels and to lower the car. 6. To fill in oil and to remove air from steering system. 7. To check up and in case of need to adjust disorder / a convergence of wheels.
