8.2. Removal and installation of steering transfer Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish a steering wheel in position for movement directly. 2. To unscrew a bolt of a tightening holder of a flange of the elastic hinge and to disconnect a shaft of a steering wheel from приводной gear wheels of steering transfer. 3. To lift the car and to remove forward wheels. 4. To take шплинты and to unscrew корончатые nuts of spherical hinges of steering draughts. 5. To disconnect steering draughts from rotary fists of wheels by means of a stripper 13.006. 6. To unscrew two bolts (1) fastenings of the case of steering transfer to a cross-beam of a body and to take steering transfer (2 – adjusting linings of a pusher).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish gear рейку in position for advance (half of angle of rotation gear рейки the transfers, necessary for moving рейки from one extreme position to another). 2. To connect приводную a gear wheel of transfer to a flange of the elastic hinge of a shaft of a steering wheel, observing correct installation of both connected elements. 3. To establish steering transfer on a corresponding place and to tighten two bolts of fastening of the case of steering transfer to a body cross-beam. 4. To fix spherical hinges of both steering bent for to rotary fists of wheels. 5. To tighten all carving connections by the corresponding moments. 6. To establish both lobbies of a wheel and to lower the car. 7. To check up and in case of need to adjust disorder / a convergence of wheels (the corresponding description in subsection 9.1.1 see).
