Position ВМТ of the piston of 1st cylinder of engine DOHC

Position of adjusting signs on asterisks of the cam-shafts corresponding ВМТ of the piston of 1st cylinder of engine DOHC, is specified by arrows.

In the course of all operations demanding removal приводной of a chain of cam-shafts, before its repeated installation it is necessary to replace the hydraulic tension device of a chain necessarily.

The method of replacement of a chain is changed. It is necessary to arrive as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect from the accumulator a weight wire.
2. To disconnect air демпфер together with the elastic pipeline of giving of air, the valve of management of idling and the ventilation pipeline картера the engine.
3. To disconnect the ventilation pipeline картера the engine from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
4. To disconnect a wire going from the coil of ignition to the distributor of ignition.
5. To uncover the distributor (two bolts with nest Torx).
6. To disconnect high voltage wires, to take a rotor of the distributor and to remove a protective plate of the distributor of ignition.
7. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
8. To remove the top casing приводной system chains timing.
9. To turn a cranked shaft so that to establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ (fig. Position ВМТ of the piston of 1st cylinder of engine DOHC see).
10. By means of a special key to block asterisks of cam-shafts and to unscrew bolts of fastening with nest Torx.
11. To take directing to a chain, made of an artificial material, after removal by tweezers of two blocking elements.
12. To take a drive of the distributor of ignition.
13. To designate position of a chain concerning asterisks of both cam-shafts.
14. To remove asterisks from both cam-shafts and slightly to pull a chain on the left side.
15. To take a spring adjusting ring of an axis of the tension device.
16. By means of bolt М6 to take an axis of the tension device, simultaneously moving downwards the tension device for easing of a tension of a chain (fig. Removal of an axis of the tension device карданной system chains timing engine DOHC see).
17. To remove the tension device.
18. To take a hydraulic pusher of the tension device.

The prevention

The pusher cannot be established repeatedly.


19. To establish a new hydraulic pusher. To check up, whether it is correct it it is blocked (fig. the Hydraulic tension device приводной system chains timing engine DOHC) see. If it is completely unblocked (the ring 1) is visible or is partially unblocked (all top part of the piston of a pusher is visible) for blocking it is necessary to press the piston in the pusher cylinder (the top part of the piston is not visible or is minimum acts from the cylinder). Thus it is necessary to pay attention not to damage pistons of a hydraulic pusher.
20. To insert all knot into a head of the block of cylinders (the piston should be directed upwards).
21. To establish the tension device, an axis and a spring lock ring.
22. To put on a chain an asterisk of the left cam-shaft. To establish a shaft in the position corresponding to position of the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ, and to screw up a hand a bolt of fastening of an asterisk.
23. To execute the same operations for the right cam-shaft and to establish a drive of the distributor of ignition.
24. To establish new directing to a chain (from an artificial material) and to fix it.
25. Slowly to turn a cranked shaft clockwise until the cam-shaft of inlet valves will start to rotate.
26. If the pusher piston acts from its cylinder it is necessary to press a hand the tension device for разблокирования a pusher.
27. If the piston upper edge is at height of an upper edge of its cylinder (is blocked), for разблокирования the piston it is necessary to arrive as follows: to lift a screw-driver the tension device and to establish between the case and the piston, for example, a welding electrode. Then to take a screw-driver and to unblock the piston.
28. To block asterisks of cam-shafts and to tighten their bolts the moment of 56-62 Nanometers.
29. To execute some turns cranked shaft and to check up adjustment of the tension device.
30. To check up a condition of a lining and to put on the top casing приводной system chains timing.
31. Other actions to execute in return sequence in relation to process of removal of a chain.
