Automatic transmission Ford C 3 has three transfers for advance and a backing re-summer residence. During advance the gear change lever can occupy three positions: "D", "2" and "1". Besides, this lever can occupy three more add-telnye positions designated: "P", "R" and "N".
Engine start is possible exclusively at installation of the lever of a gear change in positions "Р" or "N". The Safety device does impossible engine start if the gear change lever is in any other position.
Positions are designated about the lever of the gear change located in a floor of the car. In position "D" the gear change occurs automatically in all to a diapa-zone. The automatic choice of transfer depends on speed of movement, however there is a possibility of switching of transfer by the driver on more lowest pressing of a pedal of an accelerator against the stop (kick-down) in position of the maximum opening throttle заслонки the carburettor.
Identification
The metal plate containing identification given transmissions, is located under a bolt of fastening of a back part картера transmissions to its forward part. Other same plate is located about the gear change mechanism.
