3.1.4.10.4. Removal of air from brake system
THE GENERAL DATA

Air removal is carried out after opening of hydraulic contours of brakes, and also always when the brake pedal becomes "soft" and it is necessary to press it some times that brakes have started to operate.

Introduction remarks

It is impossible to unscrew деаэраторы back brakes when the hydraulic accumulator is under pressure, and also if the brake pedal is pressed. The hydraulic brake feeds a contour of back brakes under the pressure of 18 МПа.

Before performance of any actions which can be accompanied вытеканием a brake liquid, it is necessary to lower necessarily pressure in the accumulator by strong pressing about 20 times on a brake pedal.

At service, adjustment and repair of brakes it is impossible to include ignition if it is not demanded by the instruction on service.

It is necessary to use recommended by car firm-manufacturer a brake liquid and to pour it from original, just open capacities.

At removal of air from brakes it is necessary to support all time demanded level of a brake liquid in a tank.

Removal of air from a contour of forward brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To put on on деаэратор a forward brake a transparent tube from an artificial material. Other end of a tube to lower in the transparent capacity filled with a brake liquid.
2. To press a brake pedal. If it does not render resistance it is necessary to press it while it will not start to render considerable resistance.
3. At the pressed pedal of a brake to weaken деаэратор. To keep a pedal all time while coming up vials of air are visible.
4. To screw up деаэратор and to release a brake pedal.
5. To repeat two last operations until the brake liquid will not start to follow from a tube without air vials.
6. In the same way to remove air from a contour of the second forward brake.

Removal of air from a contour of back brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To put on on деаэратор a back brake a transparent tube from an artificial material. Other end of a tube to lower in the transparent capacity filled with a brake liquid.
2. To press a brake pedal.
3. To weaken деаэратор.
4. To include ignition. It will be put in action by the hydraulic pump and a brake liquid will start to follow from a tube. It is necessary to wait, while the coming up liquid will not contain air vials.
5. To release a pedal of a brake and to screw up деаэратор.
6. To switch off ignition and to wait, the hydraulic pump will not stop yet.
7. To repeat these actions for removal of air from a contour of the second back brake.
